Oral sex from two transgendered prostitutes....

Quite recently I became drunk and had an encounter with two male prostitutes I found on the street.  At the time I thought that they were both women.  I kissed one of the men and then both of them went down on me together.  I did not use a condom.  I did not ejaculate and their pants stayed on the whole time.  In fact, when I asked them to take their pants off, that's when they informed me that they were transgendered.  I am quite sure that I had no cuts in my mouth, at least none that were actively bleeding.  I believe my penis and testicles were free from cuts as well.  I have read that oral sex is a low-risk activity, I did have what appeared to be a small scrape where my leg meets the pelvis, I noticed this afterward.  It looked like small, slight breaks in the outer layers of skin, but there was no indication of actual bleeding.  I'm very nervous.  This being my first homosexual encounter, I was quite nervous when I found out they were men and asked the both of them to stop.  When I was paying them the price that we had agreed on earlier (not a lot), one of them continued asking for more money, and threatened to call the police.  When I responded by raising my voice in anger he calmed down, complained of feeling ill, and told me to just leave (I had rented a cheap, sleazy hotel room).  The other prostitute left with me, and he suggested that the other one was being difficult because he wanted money for drugs.  I can't help but assume that those drugs involved needles.  Of course I will get tested at the three-month mark for HIV (and I know I could have caught something else as well), but based on what I've told you...assuming that both of them were HIV+, what do you think the chances were that I could have caught HIV from this experience??  I just want to get a good idea in my head to prepare myself as I wait until the time when I can get tested.  I can't stop thinking about this whole thing, such a horrible mistake that could have easily been avoided!  Thank you so much for your time and consideration.  This was the first time in my life I ever did something like this, and it will certainly be the last.

You do not need to test for HIV for oral sex.

Hi, thank you so much for responding to my posts!  Based on everything I've typed about the event, you feel that there is ZERO chance of getting HIV with what occurred?  Let's assume that both men were infected with HIV, are you sure enough about my health that you would even say that a test is not necessary?

It really makes no change in risk. Any twists you can think of will not change the no risk of oral sex. it just does not happen. you will not be the first to get hiv this way. you need to calm down and move on

I have already commented on posts regarding issues that I am familiar with, and I must say that it is a wonderful thing that a site like this exists.  Thank you for being a part of it and offering your knowledge on this issue.  Everyone should know about MedHelp, I will mention it to people from now on whenever they voice health concerns.

Teak, I have looked at your member profile and your reputation on this site, and I have no reason to doubt that you know what you are talking about.  You have already helped to put my mind at ease so much.  I hope I am not asking too much for you to please address my recent concerns that were stated in my last post here.  Also, I didn't go get tested after work today for STDs, because I didn't sense the feeling in my groin as much as I did yesterday.  It is, however, still noticeable.  Should I get tested for other STDs right now, or would it be better to wait for a few weeks?  Thank you so much for your advice in advance.  I've spent countless hours reading about this stuff over the past week, most experts say that I shouldn't even concern myself with "what if" situations regarding sores, cuts, etc. but it would just be so reassuring if I could get some feedback on my own specific situation.

Thank you again....

Thank you for commenting on my situation.  I am the type of person to worry about things of this nature, I am still concerned over whether or not they had sores in their mouths that could have transferred blood into my urethra or into small cuts on my penis that I may not have noticed.  The jock itch still worries me as well.  As I said, it appears that there are very small breaks in the skin because of it, though I haven't seen any sign of blood.  My scrotum is also redder than normal, which means I may have gotten herpes, meaning that there could have been some transmission of blood, right?  One of the prostitutes kept wiping his lips with the bed sheet, and he also wiped the area of my penis he was putting his lips on.  I didn't really think about it at the time but now I'm all worried that it was blood, or some other kind of fluid from an infection.  This was the one who I am worried is a needle-drug user.  Have you ever heard of a situation similar to this one?  Has your confidence in my health been shaken at all?

I know there's no way to know 100% for sure about HIV until I have a test...I will definitely get one.  I keep reading mixed information on when to get one.  In your opinion, when will I be able to take a blood test and be completely convinced that the results are accurate?  I am thinking of going to get STD testing done tomorrow after work, but I'm wondering if I should wait a few more weeks first.  My testicles and lower abdomen felt sore today and I have read that these may be warning signs for curable STDs.  I have not had any discharge from my penis yet.  I should go and get the tests as soon as possible to be on the safe side, right?  I don't want any permanent damage from something that I could prevent now.

Again, thank you so much...hopefully I'll be fine.  Regardless of what happens, I'm going to remain a part of this online community so that I might be able to offer insight to others in need as you have done for me.

You were never at risk of contracting HIV from oral sex, jock itch or not.

After more research and changes in my groin I am fairly sure that the slight breaks in my skin were due to jock itch, does this increase my chances of getting HIV if the two prostitutes were HIV positive??
