Condom broke

Doc,

i had a condom breakage (followed by which it was discontinued) on the 16th Aug,2009 and had a Hiv test on Oct 3rd,2009(7 weeks) and it came back negative.
I have gone for a testing today....results maybe out by tommorow...........will the results change? Can the 7 weeks be conclusive?
Please help..........im so scared.............

The numbers are meaningless. Some places use the number just to indicate positive or negative. So anything above the cut off value is positive and anything below is negative. Everyone gets a number so just because yours was not zero doesn't mean anything. You could test right now and get a higher or lower number then previous and it means nothing.

got my results................its negative......so as of now it stands at

7 weeks - hiv 1- 2 elisa test - negative
test value - .001
cut - off value - 0.295

5 months - hiv 1-2 elisa test - negative
test value - .058
cut off value - .315

So can i assume im free?
Does the test value and cut off value have any significance?

I think 7 weeks is in the high 90's in terms of percentage...like 98% accurate.

7 weeks is not conclusive. 12 weeks is conclusive. 7 weeks is a very good indication and chances are result will not change, but your newest test is 100%.
