Bed Sheet Question

So I was on a trip and rented a private house by the beach. On the second night I noticed a bout an inch long sliver of blood on the bed side where I sleep. Im just worried I didn't notice it the night before and somehow it was fresh enough to infect me. I didn't have any major cuts but I slept naked and maybe it could have gone through my butt or penis? Did I ever have a risk at all?

Blood in a syringe is not exposed to the air and ph changes. You did not have an exposure. Now move along.

How soon does it become unable to infect outside its host

HIV is unable to reproduce outside its living host (unlike many bacteria or fungi, which may do so under suitable conditions), except under laboratory conditions; therefore, it does not spread or maintain infectiousness outside its host.
