Cut on hand

Hi Doc,

I recently gave another man a hand job. I did not know him and his status. My question is; He ejaculated on the outside of my hand. After, I noticed I had 2 small dry cuts, which look like paper cuts from 2 to 5 days before. Is their any way I could have gotten infected with HIV if his sperm touched my cut which was a few days old. I can scratch the cut with my nail and their is no bleeding. Im thinking this is a dry cut and the semen would not be able to get in. Please advise as I never did something like this before and now I am worried.

Thanks in advance!

cuts start healing from the inside within hours...long before it reaches the outer layer of skin.  your "cut" at 2-5 days prior to this...is insignifcant.

you were NEVER at risk and do NOT need testing.

period.

Well he ejaculated all on my hand. Where the dry cut was situated their is a small possibility that a small amount could have touched it. That is what I was concerned about.

I wiped the semen off pretty quickly. Probably less than 5 sec after it was on my hand. But since you said it would have to be a big cut and new for their to be a risk, I am at ease now.

So it is sake to say that their is No Chance of me having contracted the virus?

for a risk to be possible the cut would have to be big enough and new that you would be in the hospital getting attention for it and not doing anything sexual.

after blood has clotted a barrier is created and even fresh cuts do not provide a path to the blood stream.

also you need more then a little that would get on your hand.

Hi, Can you elaborate on why their will be no risk? The semen landed on the outside of my hand, close to where my cut was. Is their no chance because it is a dry cut on not a new cut? Thank you.
