DESASTER

Hi guys.  here is my story.

I'm 32 years healthy male, I have had unprotected vaginal sex  with a women that told me lately that she is poz for 2 years now and she is untreated yet, after 15 days, I had fever  of 37.7 C for more than 3 weeks  ,muscle pain, white tong, big mouth canker , diarrhea and blood in stool, Tingling in all my body and a rash on my back, very painful swollen Swollen glands throughout my whole body .II have been in hospital 5 times during the last 3 months, had blood tests at week 12 my CD4/CD8 rate are nearly  1  ( CD4 count  are 920, DC8 780, a report of 1.20. ) they also found an extremely high rate of CMV IgG, (512 U / ml, the limit is 15 and IgM negative) and high levels of EBV IgG and IgM negative,

I did some testing Elisa DUO (HIV1 / 2 and P24).

Week 4 after the risk negative.
Week 6,negative.
Week 9,negative.
Week 10,negative.
Week 12 and negative.

After the negative result of 12 weeks, the docs in the clinics says as all this forum moderator sais it is conclusive, I had unprotected sex with my wife after that , after 15 days she had a flu with high fever to 38,5 C, a big fatigue and sore throat with a cough that has persisted more than 3 weeks and a white tongue too. Now the DOCs changed thiere mind and are asking me to retests !!!

I  still have generalize painful swollen lymph nodes (even small ones in the face, behind the knee, in ebey single  articulation enven in the feet) still til now- 4 and half month, I am  feeling generally unwell, have blurred visons and too many floaters,  still have itchy skin and Red Button in my back, and one circle  buton in my penis.

To summarize  low CD4/CD8 report nearly 1, all the book HIV acute symptomes , and finally my poz partner.…all evidences that I catch it.. but tested neg at 12 weeks with DUO ELISA.

I asked Dr Hendsfiel and and Dr BOB in the body forum (conclusive for DR Handsfield although he ask me to follow mi ID and repeat testing t 6 months, Dr BOB said that I need te retest at 6 months as the results may (will)change),

I want to share with you, and have your opinions. How the 5 tests ELISA DUO up to 13 weeks apparently is not conclusivve in my case, am I still in seroconversion..
Have I wrongly trusts the results and  made a desaster by infected my wife ?

Thank you for your help.

dis is soooo crazy but i been browsing the net for years and have talked to numerous doctors and even the test technicians and none of them have ever seen a 12 weeks negative duo elisa turning positive later nor have anybody heard of such case. i highly doubt you will be the first one but if you say that your wife has now issues too then it has to be something probably some other virus.

this propability are far unlikly, because, I am the first one to have symptomes, just 2 weeks after the risk, then my wwife too, around 10 days, after the risk, she started to have the symptomes.

CD4 count test is only recommended if you have first diagnosed with HIV. A normal CD4 count is from 500 to 1,500 cells per cubic millimeter of blood. If you have been diagnose with HIV, doctors will start monitoring your system including your CD4 cells ( type of white blood cell that fights infection ). Then again, you will get this test if you have first diagnosed with HIV. YOur 12 weeks neg result proves that you didn't get HIV from that incident. 3 months is conclusive. As what Teak said, you better find another doctor.

Please Gentelman,

I want just to understand my situation, you seem confident for what you are saying , but I need to understand why no how no way.
Adding that at weeks 12 I tested  HCV, HAV,HBV, syphylis ..all negative.

Can the cd4/cd8 be that low (but I note that cd4 is not low, is nt it ? ) for another infection, can only high cd8 that make my nuber low ? can cd8 be high in response to other virus ? can all the symptomes we show me and my wife is due to other things ?

Hope that someone can help me with thoses questions, need your help guys.

Thats what is happening, I am no familliar with the number, but my doc ordred thoses tests a weeks 12, but I tested negative even at week 12 and 2 days by elisa 3th generation.
is ( cd4 920 and cd8 780, 1.2 )  that bad number  ? is it a strong evidence of infection ?  why no way no how ? I dont understand ?
My ID is keeping saying to prepare my self and my wife for bad news, Doctor BOB of the body. told me too that I have to retest when reding all the details.
with all thoses symptomes and all those number  and knowing that I had umprotected sex was HIV + the clinics docs , said after 12 weeks that I am ok, but after my wife symptomes, they are asking us now to retest...
SO following your response  teak, the number indicate strongly an infection ?
But why did I tested nigative at 12 week with 4th generation elisa abbot axym ? I am so confused, scared for the huge mistake I have done..the first, and the second when trusting the test.
why the test did not pick up at least p24 ?

Total BS you wouldn't have a CD4/CD8 of 1 and a 12 week negative. No way no how that can happen.
