Desperate need for reasurrance?

I just found this website...thank god.  I do not have much more to spend so I wanted to ask everyone befoe posting a question to the doctor.

Ok, I got my test results back after a 2 time unprotected incident with the same person.  I tested only 2 days before the 3 month mark (some don't think it matters) but I read my results and it only said HIV-1 negative but then I was reading the internet a few days later (b/c i was interested about it now) and read about HIV-2.  now im very upset that I was not tested for HIV-2. did they forget to?? I am white and had sex with another white.  I believe he was always a U.S. citizen, no I.V. drug use in either of us.  Am I ok with my negative 3 month?  Thank you.

You've received a conclusive result. You are HIV negative.

also, if infected with HCV at the same time (my result for HCV also came back neg. but I heard sometimes it can take longer for antibodies to show for HCV) could that delay the time it takes for an HIV test to become positive?  Please help and let me know your suggestions!!
