why do you want to go so early. Then you will keep freaking out till the 13 week despite a negative result. Humble suggestion is to wait up.
What do you think of ten days after ARS disappear? I had my 4 weeks test 10 days after my so called ARS symtoms disappeared.
Do think 10 days was much to less for a substantial amount of antibodies to develop?
Thanks
Thanks,
That cleared up my question. Thanks. Going to get my 5 week test today.
Thanks
oh yea that's 'proceeding' not preceding , sorry for the typo
I think you mean 2 weeks succeeding seroconversion phase. I think you and regularjoey are talking about the same thing. You say 2 weeks after seroconversion and joey says 3-4 weeks from the onset of symptoms, which basically mean the same thing going by the average time for the symptoms to last is 2 weeks.
Basically, detectable anti-bodies develop within 2 weeks after the symptoms disappear.
PS: I'm talking about the II and III generation of the test only.
An average time for sero convertion is about 22nd day after the exposure and the rest sero convert within 4 to 6 week, keeping that in mind detectable amount of anti bodies would always develop after 2 weeks preceding sero conversion phase
so having said that 8 week test should indicate a strong result however a conservative approach '12 weeks' result is conclusive.
It doesn't stretch that long "3 -4 weeks" , maximum is 2 weeks after seroconversion , not more than that.
I think 3-4 weeks since the onset of ARS is more accurate, but it's the same thing really
That's pretty accurate, can't give you any magnitudes though
