Hello who ever is going to answer this.
Im a Dentist and i recently had a needle prick incident with a 79 year old patient. Aftet using the needle to give a local to the patient i managed to stick it right in my finger. I quickly washed my finger with alcogel and cleaned it. However i did not follow the regulations of my country and i did not go for any acute medical visit as i had 20 more patients booked that day. The patients medical history showed no disease and also the fact that the patient was 79 kinda gives me a sense of security (might be false).
Now to add to the trouble i was also on holiday in montenegro where i had sexual contact with a woman (not a sex worker just normal girl from a bar) we used a condom but we had unprotected oral sex. Where i gave and recieved. Now im normaly not so nervous about this cause im aware of the low risk in oral sex, however combined with the needle prick im thinking maybe i should be.
So my question is should i go get tested and if so for what?
Hep C and HIV was what came to mind.
