Drinking Strangers Water and Cut on Gym Equipment

Hello,
Last Sunday i was working out and while at the machine i reached down and drank someone elses water not sure if there was blood on the bottle or in the water or if i had any cuts in my mouth. First questions. Second one is i was at the gym last friday and i was using the work out machine and i when i went to the next machine i notice like 3 scratches on my skin not deep just seen a little red dots in a few but scabbed the next day and almost turned insivible but how do i know the person before me or many people before me scratched or cut themselves on the machine i was using or equipment and have blood on it do I need to get tested cause i dont want to give my wife anything. I am in a commited relationship and never used iv drugs

From the incident you mentioned you did not get hiv.

If you had no other exposure to hiv then you can not get hiv

so from that perspective


You dont have hiv and so your wife too does not have hiv!

Vance quick question i been with my wife for 7 years now we have a child that is 2 never did anything outside the marriage only had unprotected sex with my wife and she got tested for hiv when we had our child it came out negative my question is if i had anything it would have been transferred to her by now please advise

Thanks Vance appreciate it cause I have an anxiety that I could give something to my wife so just wanted to talk to people that know about these types of situations

Neither is an issue.  You cannot get HIV from drinking after someone (the whole world would be infected, think about that, HIV is not like the flu or a cold)...and you also cannot get HIV from environmental surfaces.  It doesn't remain infectious and small cuts and skin openings are not sufficient entry points for the virus.
