Teak, you helpede me before . I have another question.

Teak, you helped me before so I have another question. I am driving everyone around me nuts with my worrying. Somewhere around 5 and a half weeks after me exposure, I had unprotected vaginal sex with a heterosexual male. Broke up with him since I have come to find out he is a ladies man, to put it nicely, lol!!! Anyway around 5 to five and half weeks after my last sexual experience with him I developed a sore throat that I have had now for 7 days. No swollen glands and I have to say there are times when it is worse. I was thinking sinus drainage due to the climate in my area. But I keep getting this nagging feeling it is sore throat due to serconversion/ARS. Is this just too late in the game for that? I do not have a fever. I tested at 2.5 weeks, my doc said just for baseline. Tested again at 5 weeks. Going back at thirteen weeks. I just don't want to worry for another 5 weeks that this is ars. Thank you so much froma crazy girl in the North.

Teak, I am apologizing. I just reread my post above and I see what you thought I meant. I said 5 and a half weeks after exposure I had unprotected sex. I worded it wrong, sorry not a typist by trade. Just want to clarify the exposure was with one guy, unprotected vaginal, then wehn I found out he was cheating I left him. The sore throat started five and a half weeks after last time I had sex with him. Again, sorry, typing goof.

As soon as I found out he was seeing other women I broke up with him. I had my blood drawn last week and that was the question you helped me with. I just wondered about the sore throat I have had for a week now that started at 5.5 weeks. Had a Doc look at it and it is not bacterial. Just wondered what your thoughts were Teak, if this was too late for ARS. That is all.

No, I meant you helped me with my question last week regarding the blood draw. I didn't put myself at risk again, this is regarding the same time frame. I am sorry Teak, that is not what I meant.

Seek professional mental help. There has to be something wrong with a person that knows how HIV is transmitted but puts themself at risk again.
