possible hiv exposure

I am going to get a hiv  rna test next week, but just for my own piece of mind... I had an long term affair ( its very complicated ,please dont judge )with a man, who constantly says he is clean and gets tested often( has wifes permission to play as long as he doesnt bring anything home, he is addicted to sex) .  Ive never gotten anything from him in the past, but we had a 9 week period where we were not  able to be with each other, and he had multiple partners. We last met up on sunday( said he was still clean) and on thursday I had vomiting ( only once) fever of 102.5 but then normal after 24 hours, sore muscles and aches, a dry cough that makes my head hurt, and terrible headache. No diarrhea, no rash,no sores, I did sleep all day when i had the vomiting spell.  Am I seroconverting?  The fever is gone but the muscle aches, and headache and cough are still around.  Thank you

Hi and welcome. Did you use condoms? If yes  you were not at risk for HIV as they greatly reduce the spreading of diseases. If he is that sexually active i would not fool with him anymore as even with condoms were could be exposed to herpes and syphilis. Not a big concern however but if you have a regular partner i would get tested to make sure all is ok. Just as a precaution.
