Right now all my symptoms are gone, except for a slight discomfort in my throat.There is no swelling or pain.But at times i experience slight pulse or wave like pain,from my neck an then makes its way through the ear and head.should i consider this as swollen lymph gland.Which is one of symptoms of HIV

i had a hiv spot test after 7 weeks of exposure.frist i did a spot test which turned out to be negative and then followed by Elisa test which also turned out to be negative.but still i have got a throat discomfort which isnt really troubling me but it does at times,especially pain in the neck when i do work.shud i take the test for granted.

i have got swelling in my armpit and also with slight discomfort in my throat(no swelling but feels like some small thing is stuck there).i used to have swelling in my armpit before i had a sexual encounter.but since it has come after i had sex with a sex worker i am worried.it has been 6 weeks after the sexual encounter.please help me.

No,swollen lymph nodes would not necesary be of a certain size. The type, combination, severity and duration of ARS symptoms, if present, are highly variable patient to patient. In some the lymphadenopathy is painful or uncomfortable, others not.
The OP had no risk though.

No risk, you had protected sex, and if the condom didnt broke there is no risk, the rubbing and the hj arent risk, so NOT RISK AT ALL, just move on and forget about this.

i had sex with i sex worker at massage parlor.she rubbed her body over mine.and then we had sex but i used a condom during insertion.but,i dint want to continue so i asked her to stop it.it lasted for 2 min and i stopped insertion.after which she removed my condom and masturbated for me,and in between my fingers(had slight sores) ran over(did not finger) her bottom.i think it was her urinary tract.after i this incident about a week,i got loose stool or improper bowel movements for 4 days.slight burnin on the tip of penis for 1 day and now i have slight discomfort in my throat,no swelling,no pain.,no cold.but i can feel strain in me neck when i take weights in the gym.and i fall short of breath too while running on the treadmill.due to sinus i feel my head very heavyit has been 4 weeks after i had sex .am i at risk of getting infected by hiv.please help me

Your symptoms are related to a cold, flu, ear infection, ect. it doesnt matter what symptoms you have most of 5 year old kids have the same symptoms probably 3 times a year, and they are not infected with hiv, what matter is in what risky activitie you involved,

i still havnt got my throat discomfort  sorted out.there is no pain while swallownig.there is  slight pain only while i cough.and i cough occasionally.i used to run a lot on the treadmill.but now i cant coz of my throAT I AM LOOSING BREATH.alongwith slight pain in my ear.and head heaviness( like sinus).am i at infected by  HIV virus.pls help me.

jimmy, i am no doc like a lot of others here in the forum, but have been in your position and I am telling you these are not symtoms from an infection, but more from anxiety and over monitoring of the body. I had done the exact same thing and I suggest you to get yourselves busy with something else.

my finger did touch her urinary tract (not that deep) i dint have any cuts in my fingers only slight sores and also she massaged me by rubbing her body(including vagina and breast).so could the virus transfer in this way

I don't think people really realized what a swollen glad are like .We are not talking a bit larger

You never had a risk of contracting HIV and you don't contract HIV from a hand job.

swollen lymph glands are big they are visible looks like you have a golfball in your neck is that how yours looks probably not so just get tested so you can put it behind you symptoms of hiv are common symptoms of the flu and many other things
