Hi worriedlots20,

The symptoms don't start "straight after infection". It takes a minimum of 1 week at least before they can start presenting themselves; the average period for symptoms to start is 2-4 weeks.

Unprotected oral sex will not cause you hiv.

Protected vaginal sex - if the condom did not break, tear or leak - is safe sex, and you also cannot get hiv from that.

Not to worry, if you did not have any unprotected vaginal or anal sex, your symptoms are not hiv related, no matter how 'real' they feel.

Take care.

May God bless

Thankyou for the responses. Its now day 7, still have all the symptons, no sign of getting better. Showing all the positive symptons and have read they can occur straight after infection.
Had 1st test, for anti-bodies, was negative.
Please can anyone help?

Oral sex carries Zero risk of getting HIV, so as you can see you do not have HIV form this exposure.

ARS, Acute Retroviral Syndrome (also known as Acute/Primary HIV Syndrome) does not present this fast in the body. These symptoms are not being caused by HIV. Your temperature also equals 98.6 degrees fahrenheit, and is that of normal human body temperature.

Once again, these symptoms are not HIV.
