No that wouldn't be a risk and yes you are missing something. Saliva in the mouth and acids in the stomach inhibits HIV transmission.

there is always a chance but very very very low. there is an eneyzme in saliva that inhibit hiv . you can google that info
so, lets say the giving partner had dry mouth, and empty stomach...how would tha affect it?
cant they use this info to make a cure? or is there already 1 but governments won't make it bcz they will loose to much profit from the medications that are already out there for HIV AIDS infected ppl?
