Help HIV and rihnoplasty

Hi I'm supposed to have a rhinoplasty in 3 weeks, but my boyfriend just been tested hiv+. I'm going to be tested today so yeh this is a stress but my question is, will this affect my operation or might the doctor refuses to do the surgery if I happened to have it? It is its first test they told him they have to wait another 2 week to recheck this. I dont know how accurante the first tests generally are but these a obsiously major concerns for me right now. Thk you In advance

Wow, that is a tough situation to be going through.. I could only imagine. Why not surf the net about "magnetic couples".. that is where one partner is positive and the other negative. Best of luck to you both!

Ok, I finally just went for a test and it turns out Im negative. Eventhough I was reliefed at the moment I realize now that one of us still has it and feel horribly destroyed and that Im gonna be having more test from my doctor for sure but.. I guess now my main concern is how??.... How are we supposed to deal with this if we wanna spend our lives togheter? At the same time call me a weirdo but a part of me believes that the fact that Im negative will just makes our relationships even more complicated... How people usually do.. I know its not an isolate situation but I basically dont know anythinng about all this...
