scared... need help please....

I had unprotected oral and vaginal sex with a friend of mine (female) from late january until last sexual contact 3/1/2011. I didn't think much of it until we broke up on 4/21/2011. Before we started having sex I asked if she was clean and she said yes. I also met her last boyfriend and she said she hasn't had sex since him (almost 2 years). On 4/27/2011 I had a clearview complete antibody test and it was negative. Then on 5/2/2011 I had a elisa antibody bloodwork done and it came back negative the following week. I then saw my doctor for a complete physical. While at my physical she said that I had one swollen groin node but that she thinks I don't have HIV. I asked if she could do a HIV antigen test so the drew blood on 5/12/2011 and it also came negative on thursday when the called me. Here my problem, are thoses results conclusive or do I need to wait another month for assurance. Second, I also notice that I have a lymph node under my tongue that is swollen so that's two nodes swollen and my stool has been with mucus and small pieces. I'm going nuts and I don't know what to do. (The girl will take a clearview rapid test this thursday for me and I'm scared. Can someone help. (Clearview Complete negative 8 weeks, Elisa negative 9 weeks 5/2,HIV antigen negative 10 weeks)

This is a question for anyone who wishes to answer... I came down with either the flu or something last week... High fever, night sweats, constantly hot, coughing and stuffy nose and body aches... The most concerning part is the red rash I developed... Mostly around my neck, stomach and lower back... Is this two late to be hiv related?... Last exposure 3/1... Just had a wb negative 6/27 or 28th (can't remember) and a negative elise on 7/6... Thanks to anyone who responds...

You sure aren't conclusive. WB tests are not diagnostic tests.

So should I call him and ask for an antibody test or am I conclusive? Thanks for your response.

I would quesiton your doctor knowledge if he ordered a WB test. Sounds like he doesn't know what he is doing.

U guys preach 3 months conclusive right? So if your doctor orders a western blot antibody instead of a elisa, is it still conclusive?

I just found out that my 6/27 test was an HIV antibody western blot test (no band reacted) - should I go back for an elisa... I don't know why they requested a western blot...

Thanks for reply... I should be happy right now but I can't... I have two swollen lymph nodes on the bottom part of my next just above the collarbone... There pretty large... Last unprotected vaginal sex was 3/1 and last negative test was on 6/27 and now my elbows hurt and my right knee hurts... I remember getting a couple of wet willy's from this girl... FML!!! I've never had swollen lymph this size before...

Here's how HIV is transmitted: unprotected vaginal/anal sex or sharing drug works with an HIV+ person, or from mother with HIV to child. Avoid these and you won't have any HIV risk.

Good morning,

This question an be answered by anyone. Is it possible to transmit HIV by way of wet willy's... The reason why I ask is because the inside of the ear is a mucous membrane so if enough saliva get's into the ear can u get sick? Thank to any all how answer it...

Thanks for your response... The test I took today was a antibody testing being sent to quest... The antigen test was taken back on 5/12/11 and I found out  it was a HIV quantitative test (have no clue what that is) so I wanted to know if the time frame for the test was good and if it was worth taking that test? (omg
that test was expensive for me $$) lol... Thanks teak

Oral sex is not a risk of contracting HIV. The only PCR test that is approved is the PCR-RNA test and has to be followed up with an antibody test. There is no reason to be taking a PCR test at this late of date..

I'm sorry to bother again but I have a question, is a HIV PCR test the same as a HIV Quantitative test... Also I decided to take my last HIV Antibody test today because if u advise 3 months then so be it... Results will come in the next fews days and for some strange reason I'm more nervous then ever... This will make it 16 weeks after unprotected vaginal sex but maybe only 7 weeks after unprotected oral... I'm honestly can't remember when I last received a blowjob so I'm assuming it was in early april... Please response teak please... Thank u

Hello hope : ) just wanted to report that my friend got her results and they came up negative for HIV... What a relief for us... Since she's negative I won't retest because to negatives can't make a positive right?... I plan on seeing her doctor regarding the recent weight loss and swollen groin lymph node next week... I hope it isn't cancer... I don't know who u are but I thank u for your advice and guidance... Have a long and healthy life... : )
