General worry

Looking for some help. Extremely worried about a recent sexual episode and was hoping to ask in the expert forum but they are not accepting questions. During male to female vaginal intercourse with a girl of unknown status, the condom slipped off of my penis during sex, exposing me to vaginal fluid for 3-4 minutes. I have been worried sick about it ever since so today (21 days after) I went to get a rapid HIV test - unfortunately in Canada we do not have the DUO rapid test, only rapid testing for antibodies. The test was non-reactive. I am still worried as I know that antibodies can take longer to develop. I do not have any rash/fever/headache/swollen lymph nodes, but do feel generally unwell. Can anybody offer any input into how worried I should be at this stage?

Hi Ronaldo2016... I am quite unclear of  "condom slipped .. exposing me to vaginal fluid". Did you penetrate her unprotected after the condom slip? If you did, then you had an exposure. If you didnt, you risk doesn't exist. In a risky situation, the usual recommendation will be blood-drawn ag/ab test at 6 weeks followed by a 12th week ab test will be conclusive. You tested rather early at 3 weeks, but hey, any negative result is a good indication at the moment. Some would consider the 6th week to be conclusive, I would love to too, but until the CDC changes its stance,  the 12th week conclusive ab test conclusion stays. I leave you with this info to decide. Good luck.

By "condom slipped" I mean that while she was on top my erection started to lose its firmness and came off with the motion of his movements. If that makes sense. I pulled out due to losing interest and the condom was no longer on. I would not be worried if it had come off as I was pulling out, but it was actually up inside her - which tells me that I was exposed during intercourse. While Canada does not offer the DUO antigen/antibody test via the INSTI/RAPID method, they do offer a 4th generation test with blood drawn and sent to the lab. For this reason, I also had this done 21 days after exposure. I have read that this is conclusive 28 days after exposure, but what are my chances at 21 days?
*"her movements" I meant to say.
the results from the 4th generation test take a week, which is making this very hard...dont understand why a country like Canada does not yet have the 4th generation rapid test
