Germ Cell Tumors are not an indicator of HIV infection?

My urologist tells me that I need to have my left testicle removed since I have a small mass, as shown by numerous ultrasounds.  He states that it's either cancer or some type of virus.  Because I had sex with a Brazilian sex worker 3 1/2 months ago, I am worried that it might be HIV since the discovery of the testicular mass was two weeks after intercourse with this sex worker, which is obviously very coincidental.  I have tested negative for every other STD, however, obviously HIV can be 'silent' in people to a varing degree.  I've read some studies online that state there is a higher incidence of germ cell tumors in HIV infected patients.  In addition, I was diagnosed with a herniated disk about 3 weeks ago in my lower lumbar L4-L5, which can be associated with viral infections.  Can you please comment on HIV infection related to germ cell tumors and herniated disks?  Many thanks for your remarks...
