HIV 11.5 week (80 day) negative test

Okay, well i've been routing around this forum and many other internet resources (something i really shouldn't do i know) but I still can't seem to accept that i'm HIV negative (supposedly).
Basically i had an exposure and although i DID use a condom, i acquired a miniscule cut at the base of the penis...for the record my partner was 18 year old, English born female, and well 3 days after then (2nd February 2010) i came down with a horrid fever, and then a week after that i acquired tingling in my right foot which is ALWAYS with me, and for 4 months i've carried this around which is still getting on my nerves. Anyway, I had the following HIV tests at a UK NHS GUM clinic...

ELISA tests;
4 weeks  - post exposure
8 weeks post exposure
11.5 weeks (80) days post exposure
ALL NEGATIVE...recently just came down with a swollen lymph node accompanied by severe fatigue which is making me doubt the results ??? maybe my immune system is taking longer than others, doctor told me i caught mumps but he barely even looked at it before diagnosing.
Basically, in 2010 with such highly advanced ELISA tests, is 80 days completely reliable...just 4days from 12 weeks....always on my mind, which is a shame because it is totally getting in the way of my social life,
Can anxiety reallly cause peripheral neuropathy....?? anyway, please respond, thankssss!

You didn't have a risk and don't need test. Discussing testing would be frivolous.

Yep, vaginal intercourse is no risk at all, blatantly. I only want to know the reliability of 80 days....

Any comments...? 80 days compared to 84, realistically is there going to be a difference?

I wouldn;t go that far, the doctor as the GUM Clinic did admitt that having an open wound meant i was possibly exposed to syphillis/hiv, basically an STI via blood route. But okay sorry for being a nuisance, just wanted to know whether the extra 4 days i should of waited to make 12 weeks would of actually made any difference to my result.
thanks for your time, :)

you have been assessed as not being at risk for contracting hiv.

kindly move on...this forum has nothing left to offer.

there is a hiv anxiety community here at medhelp and it would be a better fit for you.  look in the right hand column of this page...scroll down to the bottom...and it is located under "popular groups"

well you are thinking wrong...alcohol wont affect your immune system and in turn affect your test.

so now what?

if someone was infected and showed ars symptoms...these symptoms would come at 2-4 WEEKS post infection and last for 1-2 WEEKS.

NOW RE-READ WHAT I WROTE.

you never had a risk...accept your negative status and move on with your life

Im not sure about the tingling...i think it just came on one day and now it's permanent, almost lost friends over-reacting about this..before the 8 weeks i admitted to myself i had it and just gave up...but now i'm alot more confidence that i am completely fine

Yeah it's so annoying, all the people at the clinic believed i didn't need any more tests...but i just keep thinking maybe because i'm at university and drinking a fair bit of alcohol its affected my immune system and made it weak enough to not produce anti-bodies...but i do admit i believe that i definitely suffer from some health anxiety, thanks for responsee.

you never had a risk and never needed testing.

yes...anxiety can cause VERY REAL physical symptoms...and i bet you didnt start that "tingling" until you read it on the internet.
