HIV 60 day test

Maybe you have read this story a lot in many blogs and forums, but my anxiety don't let me concentrate on my life. On July 20, 2010 I took vacations with my family and we went to Dominican Republic. That night I went to the disco and met a girl, who was a sex worker. I was drunk and she offered to have sex with me for $100 dollars. I would never do such a thing like this in normal state but I was drunk... I told her I wouldn't do that because of all the STD but she convinced me to give me a fellatio. At that moment I thought there were no risk and I accepted. She gave me a "********" for at least 5 minutes. I used no protection and after that I didn't even took a shower... I just went to my hotel room and sleep. The next day I had some marks in my penis, like the one you have when someones ***** your neck. Now the anxiety is killing me... I got HIV test 1 week after exposure, negative and one 60 day after exposure... afortunately it was negative too. Are my test conclusive? I got some red dots on my penis, my doctor says it is only a fungical infection and prescripted me a cream. It is a bit better but isn't cured yet, tomorrow will be 2 weeks for treatment. I don't care about other STD's because all of them have cure except herpes, but I did not have any lesion on my penis... so I think I don't have it. I'm worried about HIV, I don't want to loose my life... I'm almost starting a relationship again with my ex-girlfriend... I love her so much and I don't want to lose her. Also I want to finish my college career.. Please answer me with the truth, don't try to make me feel better... I just want to know the truth, thanks... Are a 60 day HIV test conclusive? Do you think I'm infected with HIV?

We are sure of our view on oral sex from studies that have been done that PROVE HIV via oral sex WILL NOT happen as well as there being not one proven case of transmission via oral sex.

Can anyone tell "STORIES" on the internet? YES  -  Can they PROVE that what they say is true? NO, because there have been NO documented cases

It has not happened and will not happen, this is not a NEW virus it has been around for years and has never been transfered via oral sex, so with that said IT's Not Going To Happen!

Hope ths Helps.

There is no debate (among experts) about the HIV risks associated with oral sex.  The risk is so low that almost nobody who cares for HIV infected patients has ever had a patient believed to have been infected that way.  Among experts, it's a semantic issue about using terms like "no risk" and "very low risk".  There is no difference between my or Dr. Hook's use of "low risk" and other experts' "no risk".
DR. HANSFIELD

"And oral sex is basically safe sex -- completely safe with respect to HIV and although not zero risk for other STDs, the chance of infection is far lower than for unprotected vaginal or anal sex.  Please educate yourself about the real risks.  If you stick with oral sex and condom-protected vaginal or anal sex, you have no HIV worries and very little worry about other STDs. "   DR HANSFIELD

"I am sure you can find lots of people who belive that HIV is transmitted by oral sex, but you will not find scientific data to support this unrealistic concern..."   DR HOOK

"HIV is not spread by touching, masturbation, oral sex or condom protected sex."- DR. HOOK

in the public HIV Prevention forum of MedHelp, TEAK and the other moderators maintain that oral sex in all forms is a zero risk activity. Would you agree with this assessment?
I TOTALLY AGREE / DR GARCIA

The observation on thousand and thousand of observations is that HIV is not spread by oral sex (of any sort).  DR. HOOK

Thanks a lot for your help and pacience. What about the fact a didnt take a shower? Is there any risk that the saliva on my penis created a friendly environment to the virus? And the marks in my penis.... Is is posible that there were blood contact?

Herm is correct, if a little too light regarding the subject. Read through the Experts forum, and I think you will find they do not contradict what i am saying. If all you did was oral, then you are not at risk. If you had vaginal or anal sex WITH a condom that DID NOT FAIL, then you are at no risk. If you did not have anal or vaginal, then you're in the clear for HIV. As far as your anxiety and wondering when tests are conclusive, you do not need to test for HIV for this encounter. But if you insist, 90 days will be conclusive- FYI, from what I've read more recently from the experts, 8 weeks is actually conclusive with the new generation of tests, which puts you in the clear. Also, they have said they hae never seen a 60 day/8 week negative test go positive 30 days/4 weeks later.

You are fine bro. Dont get BJ's from strange girls in the future. Always wear a condom unless you are in a mutually monogamous relationship. Peace to the beast

Thanks a lot man. I don't want to sound like a jerk but I'm really stressed. How well are you familiarized with the HIV topic? Is it posible to get a 90 days positive test?
