HIV Concern

Hi,

I had an exposure last Wednesday. I met a man off of craigslist and went to his place. I shouldn't have because he didn't look trustworthy. Anyways, we played next to each other naked and I stroked his penis for about 10 minutes, while he rubbed his thigh against my penis. He pressured me to **** him and/or engage in oral sex but I resisted. We then took a shower together, washing each other and both masturbating each other. I humped him on his buttcheeks, but didn't insert my penis in his butt or rectum, this happened in shower. While he was washing my privates' without my consent, he slipped his hand into my butt and fingered my ******* for a minute until I stopped him. This fingering is what is worrying me. What if he had some bodily fluid on this finger and I became infected?

A day after exposure, I had a fever and felt unwell. Day 2 I felt the same symptoms at various times. Today, Day 5 I fell like I have fever and my lymph nodes are swollen. Please offer me advice...

Should I have an early detect HIV test done?

Thanks...

You had NO risk. Nothing you added changes that fact.

Thanks, if symptoms were to occur due to HIV would they occur five days after exposure?

Also, would it make a difference if the male who inserted his finger into my anus had a cut on his finger? I know he is a mechanic and has tough hands...

I also have a fungal infection under my testicles by my anus...

Do these considerations change my risk of being infected.

I truly believed I had no risk for HIV until these symptoms started.

Nothing you describe put you risk of acquiring HIV. I feel that your anxiety is mostly related to that fact that is perhaps the first time you were A. Either with another man or B. The first time you engaged in anonymous "play". Either way, as an adult, you will only put yourself at risk of acquiring HIV by engaging in unprotected sex (insertion of a penis into an anus or vagina) with an HIV+ person, or by sharing IV needles with an HIV+ person.
