HIV Possibility
Hello Doctor,
My story is basically im 19 years old i had unprotected sex with a women that i am unsure on her status. I got an HIV test done 4 Days after in panic it came back negative but i know now that that is probably not accurate at all its been almost 4 weeks and i have a weird feeling in my chest almost as if i need to cough but i dont. Never showed any symptoms and how does anxiety play a roll on this as you wait to be tested also when is the best time to get test for an almost 100% accurate test thats not 3 months . I run track and need to know my health status as soon as possible. please get back to me.

Duo test needs to be taken from 21-28 days from date of exposure . Since in your case you had unprotected sex i suggest you to take hiv antibody test at the mark of three months for conclusive results....
Do you think the weird Feeling in the chest is a symptom or should i look for other medical solutions for that ? after getting tested.
