If you're concerned about HIV then it is best/preferable that YOU test rather than rely on your partner's test. However, given what you have said, her test in December would have cleared your particular exposure, since it has been 3 months. I would not be concerned about HIV at this point if I were in your shoes, since you apparently have witness to the results. All the symptoms that you describe are NON-specific- there could be many causes.
UN-fortunately i cannot take the test at the moment at all ,
i can just rely on her result , because if i take the test i might deport out of the country i live in ( if it comes back positive ) ..
is it not enough to rely on her results ?
what tests you recommend for me ( which will not deport me if come back positive ) ?
1.You just need to test. 2.NO 3.YES 4.Stress and Anxiety
i went to see the doctor today , who told me a very very strange thing
he told me that HIV can take up to one YEAR ( Full Year ) to show in the test
is he crazy crazy OR he is correct ??
He's crazy and incorrect. 3 months is when you would get a conclusive result.
she told me that she face this her self b4,
she had a case with negative result before , then after a while it turned into positive , she stops my heart
i drop a beat when she say that :(
is she is totally wrong , i mean a 100% wrong
Concern yourself with your testing and not what someone said about someone else.
must have had a new risks after negative
@ Teak : what do you mean with concern my self with testing , i'm sorry but i didn't get you ?
@Better2012: who have had the new risk ?
Your doctor is a goose, find another doctor that know at least something about HIV.Any test you have now will be conclusive.
i know that i will say a silly question , but what is the maximum time for the Antibodies of HIV to show ,
if my GF use ( HIV AG\AB ) test how accurate is it ?
but i read about the HIV (AG\AB) test , it can detect it earlier than this ,
am i correct ?
It is 99.89% accurate at 4 weeks.
So if it 3 months , did the percentage change to be better ..
if she took it after 3 months , did it make any difference in the accurate of the test .?
NO. AT 3 Months or after is fine.
you didn't get me ( i mean ) if she take the test , ( HIV AG\AB ) test after 6 months , is it more accurate then ?
how about if she take ( HIV Elisa ) after 6 months , is it the same percentage of accurate ?
It's not about being more accurate the longer you wait, 3 Months is long enough and is conclusive, testing at 6 Months will not make a test result any more accurate it will just waste 3 months of waiting for nothing.
Thank You So Much For All You Help & Support
i will take with my GF tonight & see what we will do
the only thing is ( Our Doctor ) who keep on telling us that there might be a possibility for HIV after a looooong time , & it might not show in the test after a while
BTW : if you recommend test in Qatar , after three months , what do you recommend ( Sandwich ELISA OR AG\AB ) ?
Your doctor is wrong and either test will be accurate.
