I am a 32 year old male who has been having diarrhea for the past year I do not get dehydrated or anything like that but when I go to the bathroom it is watery. So I went to the Dr. and had a colonoscopy done, he ended up taking a biopsy and said that I have eosinophilic colitis. I had a CBC blood test done before my colonoscopy and my counts came out normal but apparently my body is releasing eosinophil cells to fight off something in my colon.
I am nervous it may be HIV and here is my reason (please tell me I'm way off)
-eosinophils are indeed white blood cells and if these cells cannot seem to fight off whatever is giving me diarrhea isnt that a bad sign?
-I have had unprotected sexual encounters with a few women of unknown status.
-I have a few white bumps on my pubic area that do not go away they look like white heads without the pimple, they do not hurt or itch they are just there.
-BUT I am not experiencing any other symptoms of HIV
One last thing: say a person does have HIV do they experience all the symptoms at once or are they all separate?
Thanks for your input it is greatly appreciated.
