HIV Risk,Kindly help to advise

Hi Doctor, Can you please review my points below and assess on my risk of acquiring HIV .

I went to a hospital Laboratory  for blood testing .I gave my blood for testing.

After 2 mins of giving blood,I saw a blood sample of others  in another open synrige .I tried to observe closely .

Then the blood/Serum from the syringe fell on my hand .I washed immediately with saop.

But I am worried if some blood/Serum drops  might have fell on the area of needle poke happend by blood withdrawn and might have entered the body which may result in HIV.

I have asked the lab physician about the blood sample, He said it was collected in the morning and centrifuged for Diabetes testing.

Kindly advise on this situation please. If I need testing or I can move on with my life.

Forget about HIV.  You didn't get HIV from this incident.  HIV is transmitted by 1) having unprotected, penetrative anal or vaginal sex, or 2) sharing IV drug equipment with other IV drug users.

Anything else you can think of is not a risk.

Your risk did not exist. HIV transmission takes place as a result of exchange of body fluids INSIDE the body, not outside. Your fears are irrational and baseless. "Ifs" and "might haves" do not work in your case :)
