Difference between tests

If someone had an HIV risk, (unprotected vaginal sex), what is the difference between CMIA and ELISA HIV antigen/antibody tests? I got tested after one year, and the test was CMIA. It was negative. However on this forum you all recommend an ELISA test. In my lab they only offered me a CMIA. I asked another laboratory and that also has a CMIA. Why do you recommend ELISA? Is that more accurate? Need some answers. Thank you.

I asked about CMIA. Is that conclusive after 1 month too? Is the window period the same as ELISA? Please just clearly answer my questions that’s all I’m asking!
As I clearly before - "Duo is conclusive after 1 month.
Both tests are duo. " Therefore the one you took is a duo.
I don't know how to make it any clearer.
Please also tell me if CMIA is just as reliable as ELISA? Or is it less accurate? This is my last question.
Yes.  They are just different methods of looking for the same thing.  It DOES NOT MATTER which method was used.  Please move on.  You do not have HIV.
Yes it is just as reliable? Or yes it is less accurate? Sorry I’m confused
And the duo test will still detect hiv at One YEAR right? I tested at one year, not one month.

Any duo is conclusive. Both tests are duo. No one said only use Elisa.

So CMIA is just as reliable as ELISA? I’m pretty sure someone on this forum asked which test is best and they were told ELISA…well I don’t know where to get Elisa from in my city. So I can be confident that my CMIA is just as good?
And do CMIA tests have the same window period as ELISA? I took it after one YEAR
