HIV SCARE!

Hi i had sexual intercourse with a stranger and i was under the influence of alcohol. We didnt use protection. I saw him the next night and we talked, but nothing about what happened. He came up to me, and stuff so i dont think he was trying to hide anything from me, he was actually really nice. 3 weeks later i had a cough, but that could have been because i went on a 14hour flight with my friend who was coughing all the time. I'm just really nervous. Its been 2 1/2 months. I feel like i'm making myself sick and thinking that i have hiv or something. What should i do? Is it that common to HIV from an Australian ( he was Australian). My good friends say dont worry your fine and that its soo rare. I just took an HIV blood test yesterday! im just really nervous. I also did a swap and the doctor didnt seeing anything wrong down there (which gave me some hope). PLEASE TELL ME What to do before i start to practice a speech to my parents that i have hiv!

I don't care where you are from or where you are, HIV is a big issue and ignorance to it is even bigger.

Don't get the cart before the horse. You need to test and then go from there.
