Am I HIV+ cause although I'm on PEP, I have at least 80% of the symptoms

Hi Doctor.

Please excuse me, I know it's a long comment but please help me to understand what's going on in my body

I took a high risk 24days ago, I slept with a girl without a condom but I realised it 2minutes after we started and I put on a condom. She was still dry although it was the second round(I did put a condom for the first round) and after that, we had unprotected oral sex. She s*cked me and I s*cked her as well. I started the PEP late(5days post exposure) and on the day I started it I had the symptoms: dizziness, nausea, diarrhea, slight cold, sore throat(all of them lasted 6-7days) and I had a fever (37.3 maximum which lasted 2days and was on and off)

Today, 24 days psot exposure and 20days after I started
the late PEP my temperature is often between(36.2 and 36.9), I have some headaches which are on and off since 3days(I always have a problem with my head by the way), I had a wound
just around my anus which was bleeding when I was
cleaning myself with the toilet paper and it was painful
when I touch it(it started 6days post exposure and the line between my butts is red)
and before there was like water which was
coming out of that wound, I still don’t have any rash on my
skin but I think it’s coming because I can see
some small button on my arms(like an allergy and I'm pretty sure they're gonna be big soon enough), I had
sore throat since the day I started the PEP and it was on and off but my doctor gave me some
antibiotics 6days ago and it was finsh 2days ago, I
have a running nose sometime in a day and I
have a joint ache on my right knee and on my right shoulder sometime
since 6days post exposure. And I'm still drinking the
PEP medication so: 1)As a Doctor, what do you
think about all of this after 24days post exposure? 2)And the
wound around my anus, is it also a proof that I am already HIV+?
3)Can the PEP slow the rash on my chest and
face? 4)Can the HIV ARS sore throat be cure by antibiotics? 5)Do you think that the fact that I started this PEP with 2days late is going to fail if she was HIV POSITIVE? 6)Do you think that 2minutes is enough to be infected by the virus when I know that I wasn't brutal with the girl?

Thank you for your comment Vance2335. I can't deny the fact that I'm stressed and anxious but I can feel that they are not only the only things which are bringing these symptoms!!!I tried to forget about that until the day I'll get tested but it's not easy especially when I can feel the muscle pain on my neck and I checked up my weight today, I've lost again 3kg(meaning 8kg since 23days) is it also a consequence of anxiety and stress?I'm loosing hope now

Thank you HowardH and bmthbloke for your quick answers. There is something I also want to know, only on the first week post exposure...I lost 5Kg, today 24days post exposure I've lost in general 8Kg and I know that loss weight is one of the biggest symptoms of HIV ARS, the muscles on my neck and those on the back of my thighs are painful since yesterday especially when I want to sleep for those on the neck. So honestly, when you put all of this symptoms together...what do you think, like for real?My stomach is always making a weird noise since 5days and I think my body should have been already used to the PEP but the diarrhea is back since 4days now!!!So honestly, what do u think after all these symptoms? Is it the PEP which is slowing the real rash on the skin and in my mouth?

What Howard said really. Granted rough sex can make a different if it cause a small cut or tear which im sure it didn't!

I think you are fine. The chances of getting it (IF she is HIV+) is about 1 in 2000 odd (about 0.03 to 0.09%).

Anxiety is a cruel thing but relax :)

This is a community forum and you're under the care of a doctor -- and I'm guessing your he or she has a lot of experience with new HIV infections, prevention, and PEP. You'll get better answers from him or her. But all things considered, I doubt you caught HIV.

1) These are not typical ARS symptoms. Part of the problem is that your anxieity is making you notice every little thing that comes up and make it seem more severe.
2) An anal wound is not a sign of HIV.
3) No comment on a rash that you "think is coming" but hasn't even showed up!
4) Antibiotics don't treat ARS sore throat or any other virus.
5) Five days is much too late. If you caught HIV, I wouldn't think it would work. But your doctor surely knows more about it than I do.
6) Of course you should never be "brutal" with a partner during sex. But it probably makes no difference in catching HIV. Having exposure for only 2 minutes might lower the risk of HIV, but only a little bit.

All in all, I doubt you caught HIV. Good luck.
