HIV/STI and Bell's Palsy(Facial Paralyzed)
Few months back I performed oral sex for a minute on a massage lady. The next morning, my left side of my face was paralyzed and I was diagnosis with Bell's Palsy. Did not tell my doctor what I did and she said it was probably an viral infection. She prescribed steroid and it was healed in about 2 weeks. I searched the net and can't find any relationship between STI/HIV and Bell's Palsy but I am nervous that they are related. Anyone knows if any STI/HIV can cause Bell's Palsy? Also, can STI/HIV cause an UTI 3 months after explosure? Thank you.
I meant 3 months and not 23 months if it makes any difference. BTW, you wrote a great article on Oral Sex back in 2009, do you have any update information you can add since it is a very common and confusing topic?Also, the article is related to giving oral sex. Certain infections don't just go away on their own without treatment, and most viral infections can only be treated symptomatically.
That being said, a UTI is a common finding, and I doubt related to a possible STD you contracted 2 years earlier. If you're concerned, have a full STD panel done, and put this to bed once and for all.

Thank you for the quick response. Last question, can any STD/HIV coz an UTI 23 months after explosure with no other prior symptoms and will the bosy immunue system cure all STD without taking any medicataions? Thank you again.

I would highly doubt that the Bell's Palsy had anything to do with your sexual encounter. If it WAS the cause, the most likely culprit would be HSV-2, or genital herpes.
HIV is definitely not a factor.
I wouldn't give it any more thought if I were you.
