HIV exposure & 47 days HIV 1 & 2 P24 test

HI,

i must say your doing a great job when people like me suffering from extrema anxiety and stress. here is my story
i had protected sex with a sex worker in dubai when i was drunken and i dont remember if the condom was break or removed during sex after 2 week i noticed white coating on top of my tongue and loss my appetite then i decided to go for test and i did HIV 1 & 2 P24 test which was negative (2 week) but it didnt make me feel better and i feel sore tongue which is still there along white coated tongue so i took another HIV 1 & 2 P24 test after 4 week it came back as negative since i heard about 4 to 6 week is conclusive so i was still worried and i did another test 6 week (around 47 days ) HIV 1 & 2 P24 test which was again negative but still i have sore and white coated tongue. my question is
1. HIV 1 & 2 P24 test is belong to which generation?
2. Is this 6 week HIV 1 & 2 P24 test is conclusive or do i need to perform another test after 3 month or 6 month?
3. are the symptoms are related to HIV?
4. do you think i need to test again?

Thanking you for reply.

No it's not as you have already been advised. Your test is conclusive at 3 months post exposure.

a 6-8 week test is VERY unlikely to change at 3 months.  I would say if you have a 8 week NEG result you will for sure be NEG at your 3 month test. Just take it for your conclusive result.

but according to Doctor H. Hunter Handsfield & Dr Sean who has extensive experience this test (HIV 1 & 2 P24 test) is 100% and conclusive and no further testing is required i am really freaked out and not sure what to do.
can some one tell me why there are difference opinion? and why specialist urge on reliability of 6 week and other says....3 months if antigen look for early detection so why one need to wait for 3 month?

Because we use the current FDA guidelines, where the Dr's have real world experience and up to date info on the tests.

If the condom broke or came off you would know. No matter how drunk you are.

1. 4th generation.
2. It yielded a VERY reliable result, but by medical guidelines any approved test regardless of the generation to which it belongs needs to be performed at 3 months post-exposure for a conclusive negative result.
3. Very probably not, but you'll see whether it's the case at your follow-up test at 3 months PE.
4. See #2 and 3.
