Lol. You can't get HIV from a broken dinner plate. No matter how deep the wound. Dinner plates don't carry the HIV virus. It's called HUMAN Immunodeficiency Virus because only a human can infect another human.

Defo no concern here, - if it helps, in the UK last year, the ban on HIV Infected Dentists and Nurses was lifted, - this shows how much more we know now.
I would not give this a second thought - also, the HIV Virus becomes "inactive" as soon as it leaves the body.

From your post I don't see a risk that you had. You state that you received a cut from a plate after a fall. You don't contact hiv this way. Move on.
