hiv rapid testing

first off i want to apologize to everyone who i asked questions in there post i am new here and after reading several other posts i got the impression that you have to ask your own question... so heres my situation i had a real risk i had unprotected insertive vaginal sex with a prostitute over i se asia i tested oraquick advance hiv 1/2 oral fluid 3 times 6 weeks 8 weeks and 13 weeks which i considered conclusive now i am very confused i am reading info saying do not brush your teeth eat drink coffee or smoke before testing i did all of the above.  then i read that there was a study done here in my hometown Seattle at the same clinic i went to using the same test that they gave me oraquick and how those tests are not as accurate as they state they are and are not catching a lot of infections so that said anyone someone please help i want to know would the fact that i brushed my teeth 1-2 hours prior effect the ora test? i also ate drank coffee and smoked a lot of cigerettes all the way to the parking lot will this effect the test? lastly should i re test now since the study done at the clinic i went to is questioning oraquick now?

No, it would not have an effect on your result.  Not at that time.  Maybe early on...but even that, it would be so minute, that I personally wouldn't worry about it.

As far as a link goes?  I don't have a specific link....just using my noggin.

Feel free to google, or ask the docs in the expert forum...I'm sure they would tell you the same thing.  If the $15 would give you more peace of mind...by all means go for it!

Just ignore "hopetogod"...just another forum troll who will soon be banned.  ;0)

Teak is absolutely correct, you can rely on your results 100%.  You are conclusively negative.  Celebrate!

And, from now on...be sure to wear condoms EVERY time.

No you don't need to retest. The study had to do with testing earlier than three months. You have a conclusive negative test result.
