HIV Tests

I have done 11-12 Protected sex encounters with female sex workers. After a year I tested for HIV(6Times). 3 Alere Rapid test(Combo). HIV DUO(Full blood arm test), Multiplex PCR RNA test and one INSTI rapid test. All of them were negative. Now I am having symptoms of 4-5 kg weight loss mostly around buttocks. May be having lipdystrophy. All my CBC were norma till now. I have problem of going to toilet 2 to 3 times a day and vomit at one or two  in a month...So Kindly advice what else I can do

Hi there.  Here at MedHelp, we adhere to opinions and research of leading HIV experts who do not agree with this one article you have found.  You had protected sex which means you did not have a risk for HIV transmission.  Which is GOOD news and we are glad that you smartly used protection.  We're going to close this thread now and we wish you the best.

I would probably not take advice from a member who still has his own concerns about a no-risk event, but in this case, yes, you had NO RISK.  You used condoms and they did not break - that is protected sex, no HIV risk.  If the condom had broken, you would have known for sure.  Ignore anything you might think about pinholes - that is NOT how HIV is transmitted.  Sexually, HIV is only transmitted by having unprotected, penetrative anal or vaginal sex.  That's it.

Thanks for the reply. I did one more test as well. It is Dried Blood Spot Test. That came back as negative. I am afraid, if lichen planus affects these tests. I am having my nerves in green visible at sometimes in hand and legs. Could it be due to lipodystrophy ?
You never had a risk for HIV.  Your encounters were protected.  ANY HIV test you take will be negative, and nothing will change that as you had no risk.  You should start looking at something else that is causing your symptoms, because it is NOT HIV.
Thanks Again. I was little worried because of number of times i had sex(protected) is 11-12 times. All with female sex workers..I know sex workers are at high risks,,, which makes me worry ....I tested for other STDs also .. all are negative...
