HIV anxiety

Hi, I’m a 26 years old female. I slept with a guy three days ago. We used protection (latex condom) and I did not give him a blow job. Today we were talking and he told me that he got tested for STDs recently because he had fever and some spots on his face, hands, and feet. His blood test came back negative for everything and they told him that it was another allergy. But I know that HIV has a window period so I’m just worried that he has HIV. Assuming that he has HIV, Given that we used protection and I did not give him a blow job, what are the chances that I  be been infected? I regularly  panic over HIV and my doctor says that I have anxiety. He says that I should go and get tested when I use protection and when I have no symptoms. Is that true?

You can't get hiv when you use a condom. btw hiv is dead in saliva or air so you also can't get it from oral either - only sex risks are penetrating unprotected vaginal or anal.
Find a new doc - that quack would give me anxiety too. You can do what you did any time and be safe - try to move on.
See the psychologist before you waste time taking a placebo test if this chronic irrational fear doesn't go away now that you know the only 2 ways of getting hiv from sex.
