Touched dried blood on a wall!! HELP!!!!

I was in a public bathroom. I put my hand under the soap and pressed for the soap to come out. While I did this a few of my fingers and fingertips touched the wall. As I was lathering up and rinsing off, I looked at the wall under the soap dispenser. THERE WAS A TRAIL OF DRIED BLOOD.
I am FREAKING out. My fingers are dry and cracked and I bite my nail so there are some cuts there.
I have read that HIV can live up to 7 days in dried blood and that hepatitis can survive, too.
I am really worried.
I work with children and am now afraid to touch anything! I am afraid I am spreading something to others.
HELP!!!!

In your previous post from today and this post, you've been directed as to what is a risk for transmission of HIV.  Please review the answers which our members tell you that HIV is transmitted through unprotected sex, vaginal or anal or sharing of IV drug needles.  As you are being told, all other concerns are not risks for HIV.  We hope that your questions have been answered and are now closing this thread.

HIV is instantly inactivated in air. In a lab at controlled temperature and special gases it would live a while.

Children and adults have touched lots of blood in playgrounds etc, and never got HIV either, so relax and forget about HIV.
