HIV infection from kiss

Dear Doctors,

I am so worried about my HIV status, right now. Last week, I went out to the pub and met a new gay friend. He said that he just had sex 3 hours ago before coming to the pub. Then, of course, we got drunk and we kissed for 3 times. The first time, there was tongue associated with, but none for other two and our kisses were just for short periods, let s say, less than 4 seconds in each time. We did not have any kinds of sex, just those 3 short and light kisses. This week, I got very serious diarrhea, so that is why I am so worried about my HIV status. Are there any risks for HIV infections from those kisses. I am going to get tested next weeks, 2 weeks after exposure to ensure that I am not infected by HIV. Thank you very much for you answer in advance.

Best regards,
Beepollen

FROM THE DRS. HERE AT MEDHELP:

"Kissing is no risk, even deep ("French") kissing and even with a person who sores on their mouth or has gum or dental disease."   DR HOOK

"Of course no risk. HIV is not transmitted by kissing, even with sores in the mouth.

Despite the billions of kissing events in the AIDS era, not one case of HIV has been known to be transmitted that way, even though millions of those kisses undoubtedly were with cuts in the mouth or on the lips."
