HIV infection??

Hi

So i basically touched a catheter tube of a HIV patient that I didnt know had HIV, that may have or may not have had semen present on it, I may have had small cuts around my nail beds but i cannot remember, i wasnt bleeding or anything like that, is there a possible risk,

respsone would be great as this is driving me nuts!!

once exposed to air, hiv becomes inactive and unable to infect.  i told you this already.

is it true that semen HIV cant be transmitted outside the body ? sorry for the question

you had NO risk.

#1...hiv is not transmitted outside the body.  once exposed to air, it becomes inactive and unable to infect.

#2...tears / cuts to the nailbed are not an entry point into the bloodstream.
