Dear Teak,
thank you for your extensive answer, this is very clear.
Have a good weekend
HIV is unable to reproduce outside its living host (unlike many bacteria or fungi, which may do so under suitable conditions), except under laboratory conditions; therefore, it does not spread or maintain infectiousness outside its host.
HIV is transmitted by;
Unprotected penetrative anal and vaginal sex
Sharing works with other IV drug abusers
Mother to child.
HIV is not transmitted by food products, eating or drinking after someone with HIV. Saliva is not infectious and contains over a dozen different enzymes and proteins that inhibits HIV transmission.
Ok getitright77 and others thank you
I understand you guys answer it quickly as no risk because of the transmission route.
In the meanwhile this keeps driving me Bonkers!
The edge of the can had some blood on it, still not a risk? why? please explain me more clearly..
many thanks
Hi,
Thanks for your answer. I do understand this is not a form of common transmission.
But suppose I got some blood in my mouth? This isn't really a risk than?
Please explain, I am really afraid, sorry.
