HIV testing, brief exposure

After My brief exposure where the condom broke and i withdrew immediately and replaced it with a new one, i took a test yesterday and i am waiting for results. Anxiety is killing me, what can i expect. Anyone please help.

Do the math, less than 1% of the population have hiv. Let's say you were unlucky and your partner was positive. Even with unprotected sex your chances are about 1/1000 of being infected.


Add to that your exposure was brief and you can rest your mind and await your negative result.

If it has been less than 4 weeks then the test isn't going to tell you much.

You need to stop looking for answers on forums and just wait to get tested, as you have been repeatedly advised. Nobody here can tell you whether you were infected.
