Confused , worried

HinTeak, Lizzie Lou and everyone,  I am totally confused, after going through this site it seems to be consensus that HIV cannot be transmitted through vaginal fluid onto a cut or graze on the skin..  I had a body to body massage, she was fully naked I had my undies off when I  was lying on my stomach, she rubbed her vagina over my back side,  not sure if its possible for some vaginal fluid to enter anus this way, I then turned around and put my undies back on. I also had a herpes sore on my lip where the girl kissed me.  After having symptoms I thought I would get checked out by a Doctor, now this Doctor is a senior specialist at the Sydney (australia) Sexual Health Centre, he has also found some glands on my neck along with my other symptoms.  After asking him if from what contact I had, could I have caught HIV, his reply was yes it is possible, either by the herpes sore on lip, or if I had a cut or graze on me, and her vaginal fluids got onto it , it could be transmitted this way.   Now I am tottally confused and freaking out.!!  Why such differing opinions, I cannot believe it.

You have nothing to worry about. Your risk was extremely minimal. But you won't be able to move on...in your mind...until you get tested. You actually have no reason to get tested because you had no risk in the first place, but a negative test result will be the only thing that will put your mind at ease. It's the only thing that will silence those truly unjustified, crazy thoughts of yours.  Really, you have no worries regarding the event you just described. Wait 12 weeks, get tested, move on...It will be negative from the event you just described. Seriously.

Now ask this "Senior Specailist" how many infections he's seen from this type of contact. I can tell you -- 0.
