Persistently swollen lymph node

Hey all,
over one year ago I had brief unprotected vaginal sex with a guy I was seeing....no ejaculation.  I tested for hiv at 3, 5, 6, and 8 months afterward...all negative.  The problem is that I've had a swollen lymph node right under my chin for a long time...I noticed it right after the incident (I was looking for symptoms).  Have I COMPLETELY ruled out hiv causing the lymph node enlargement with negative antibody tests as far out as 8 months?  Can I safely say that the node must be due to something else?  I really just want to put this all behind me...   I've had the node evaluated by my doctor and he seems to think that it must be due to some ongoing local inflammation in the mouth or something.
Please help everyone...I really need some advice.
Thanks to all in advance.

I am in the similar situation, tested negative 4 times and still have swollen lymph nodes(confirmed by doctor) in my groins and one under my jaw. I am very thin person so maybe that's the reason why my nodes are palpable. Who knows...

You are conclusively negative and if you have concerns with your health see your doctor. It has nothing to do with HIV.

So it's safe to say that my lymph node is swollen for some other reason or should I be concerned about the possibility of delayed seroconversion?
Thanks for your help.

You don't have HIV. You are conclusively negative from this exposure. Use condoms.
