HIV

I was bitten by a guy in my cheek? I am worried if this can cause transmission of HIV if he is infected? Do  I need to go for test? Please help.

This was in the news recently where a police officier was bitten by an HIV+ offender and has had regular HIV tests at the advice of an HIV specialist.He has tested negative thus far--this is why I reassured the OP they had no risk.

You can't contract HIV from being bitten.
