risk or no risk

when i went for my 12 week HIV DUO test i did not see the lab guy unpack the syringe and ever since my mind is going crazy with worry thinking that that need was a used one and he made a mistake since the DUO test is available in my country and i had no ARS signs for 3 weeks (no sore throat,no cold/fever no rash)but i have recently discovered a swollen gland on my neck but it is not visible by looking at it you need to feel it. i really don t know what to do.
if it was a infected syringe or needle would the HIV DUO test which i was taking at the catch it due that the result was negative?????????????please relpy
i called the hospital up and they said that all their equipment to draw blood like syringes are 100% disposable and they also said that i must have not seen them when they up packed the syringe because all their syringes come individually packed i am very scared now again boy when i just though i can have fun it all come back another 12 weeks i have no idea how i will survive this one

Your thinking is both absurd and irrational. This may have happened in Africa years ago but not in other countries.

You are most likely having an irrational phobia. i don't know about your country but in most licensed clinics around the world, needles are disposed of once used. To make yourself happy, get a test at week 12 from that date. Just chill, anxiety alone can cause many symptoms. And make sure the guy unpacks the syringe in front of you this time :)
