High risk exposure?

I had oral sex with a girl and she was on her period.  I had a small cut on my lip from that morning and blood got into it.  I also had blood in my mouth and gums... which meant i swallowed it too.  When I brush my teeth, my gums bleed, so blood might have got in that way too.
I had protected vaginal sex, but there was blood on the condom too.  Afterwards, I did not take it off right way, but I still was protected... i was just sitting there was a bloody condom on....(dont know why)....
I do not think any blood got on my penis.... but maybe my testicles and thighs.

Was this a high risk exposure?   I also fingered her too.

Unless you had a large open wound that required stitches then you don't have a worry of contracting HIV.

No one is perfect including my self. We all make mistakes. I am a health care worker and see far too many sad cases and my mother has recently lost a life long battle with AIDS and AIDS related causes (Non-H Lymphoma, PCP). Please just test at your 3 month period and continue to have protected sex and be careful around blood and body fluids you would not trust. What we are taught in the hospital is UNIVERSAL PERCAUTIONS. Treat all blood and body fluids as they were infected and you will remain safe.

Get your test at your 3 month to be conclusive and remain safe mate

Cheers

This was 7 weeks ago.... i would test now, but i want conclusive result.... i dont want to keep spending money on tests.

Yes, i had a cut on my upper lip and lip got into it.  She says she was on her period, but the blood could have been from any possible thing.   I say this, because she lied a lot and there was a lot of blood....

also, it was just a one-night stand... i did not know her from before and she got pissed at me when i asked about her HIV status and refused to talk to me after that.

Blood on your thigh or testicles? no risk unless you had a open wound

Your cut on your lip with her menstrul blood does pose a theroretical risk but very low i would say. Please be more careful and use a dental dam or avoid oral sex with someone who is menstrating. It is not only not safe if you have open wounds in your mouth, it is also not pleasant.

Find out her risk history and get a possible antibody test in 3 months. All sexualy active people should have an antibody test once a year anyway, hetero and homo. Might be that time?

Furthermore, I know people have said oral sex is not a risk.... but is this still true when blood is present?

Any help is much appreciated.

Thanks!
