Help is needed

I recently had an experience with an 65 year old gay man. We masturbated each other, he performed oral sex on me and I did the same to him for just a minute.  He did not ejaculate.

He told me before that he was safe, but afterwards when I panicked, since this was my first time with a man, he indicated that he hasnt been tested recently since his only sexual practice is oral sex.

Please help me access my need for testing and concern.

I have been reading that some people in similiar situations do test and other dont.

Is this generally for peace of mind?

Also, is the risk from receiving compared to giving oral sex considerably lower?

I browsed some of the replies.  It appears that in most cases, the Drs. say not to worry or no testing is recommended.

Does anyone agree with that here?

I'm assuming the oral sex was unprotected?  Still, even un-protected, your risk is extremely extremely extremely low -- I wouldn't worry about it -- But I can relate to your anxiety! --- go get tested........or better yet if you're still in contact with the man go get tested together ---It's the only way to be certain --- HIV transmission through oral sex happens but is very rare--

I'll refer you to the Drs. forum so that you can read the replies that they give on oral sex.
