HiV Ab/Ag after 4 weeks

Dear All,
I want to get tested. It's been 4 weeks since encounter - is it enough time to get tested using Ab/Ag HIV test in local lab? What would be the accuracy of such test after 4 weeks?  Please let me know if 4 weeks is enough time or i should wait one or two weeks more?

Kind Regards

Nobody on this forum will EVER tell you not to test if that is what YOU need to do for peace of mind. Follow the testing guidelines of the doctor or HIV clinic where you get tested for follow up testing.

Thank you. I appreciate your scathing, i might be at no risk but as a person which was never tested, and decided to test i just need answer if 4 weeks is fine or should i wait longer to get accurate result. As you said it will probably be negative, buti need  total peace of mind.
The background of all situation is that during "safe" massage i got some other  infection caused by some fecal baceteria which in theory should also not happen.
Thanks

Protected sex and a massage is not a risk. It's not "low risk" its No Risk. The difference is that most normal people don't run around testing for diseases for which they had no risk.

The last encounter i have described in my other STI thread and it there the risk was considered as non existant, anyway last year i had some proteceted vaginal sex with sex worker and kind of "full body massage" in another massage parlor. Probably you will ***** the risk as low or non existant, by i want to get tested just to clear my mind :).
The question is if the testing after 4 weeks make sense or i should wait 6 weeks or me? Thanks for understanding

As iommi asked............what was your risk? We can not assess your need to test if we don't know what your risk was.  You may not need to test at all.
