Hi - you have had conclusive negative tests. If you want to take another for peace of mind, then you can. It will be negative. If it's too much trouble to take another test, then I suggest accepting your negative result and moving on.
Your negative PCR test and duo test is 100 percent proof you do not have HIV. I just would say do another duo because of the high risk and peace of mind.
I just post to thank you all guys. You are right . I made another combo test today ((13 weeks)) and it is negative . Thanks all for your assistance .
Guys any idea about my status . I really need your comments . Can't imagine how my life turned to since that night . Ppz help
putting in consideration that , it is not easy here to get hiv test because i am considered as a a non native person here and in case of infection the lab have to tell immediately the health authority about the infection and then they push you out of the country , that is why i find it very heavy and unsafe to go tested here although did it 3 times but it wasn't easy at all.
thanks brother for your instant reply , so you mean that it was realy high risk exposure and need another test ? and let me ask what if i didn't make any other tests and came back to my wife in unprotected sex , would you consider that a stupid decision ??
You did have a big risk. However, your 29 day duo test is conclusive and definitive which has been stated by HIV Experts and the CDC regarding 4th gen tests. However due to the very high risk personally I would take another test at 6 weeks for reassurance.
