Hiv Concern

Dear Sir/Madam,

I am from sydney, Australia. I had 9 sexual exposures in total in my life and 9 were in different brothels in sydney(started in october 2009 and stopped in April 2010). All were licensed brothels. Since april i was really disturbed and was concerned of hiv. So i did a test on May30 and everything came negative. i am explaining my exposures below. can any one please let me know, if i require another testing.

Oct 22 2009 All Protected Tested on May 30 2010 ie after 220 Days
Oct 27 2009 vaginal Sex Protected, Oral Unprotected Tested on May 30 2010 ie after 215 Days
Dec 14 2009 All protected Tested on May 30 2010 ie after 167 Days
Dec 30 2009 All Protected Tested on May 30 2010 ie after 151 Days
Jan 12 2010 Oral&Vaginal Protected, Fingering Unprotected Tested on May 30 2010 ie  after 138 Days
Feb 09 2010 Oral&Vaginal Protected, Fingering Unprotected Tested on May 30 2010 ie after 110 Days
Mar 14 2010 All Protected Tested on May 30 2010 after 77 Days
Mar 22 2010 All Protected Tested on May 30 2010 after 69 Days
Apr 15 2010       All Protected Tested on May 30 2010 after 45 Days

I suffered from tonsillis on november for a week, then it started agian on march and then was a bit worse on march and there was a small swollen gland on the neck. The doctor gave me some antibiotics and the pain and the swolling gland came normal and i never had any problems so far. Also i suffered gastric problems (but its still there) during the time as well. So does antibiotic affect my testing results.

Also i had a swine flu vaccine on april. Does that affect the hiv testing results.

Does anyone think i need a testing again. I am really worried

Thanks & Regards
pet

Hi Lizzie,

Thanks a lot for the quick response.. That gave me some relief.
Well as you can see my last exposure was on april 15 and i did the test after 45 days, which is 6 weeks+. So is a test on 6 weeks post exposure reliable. Just asking due to curiosity.

Well i do remeber most incidents in my life and to a certain extend the dates..:)so thought of posting it in here for the readers to have a better understanding of the exposure

wow...i'm amazed.   did you keep a journal or something?

hiv is transmitted through...
unprotected vaginal / anal intercourse
sharing iv drug works
mother to child

clearly you can see that nothing you have described put you at risk for contracting hiv.
