Hiv and Oral sex and dry mouth

If u give oral sex to a man and there is limited saliva due to dry mouth,  is the oral sex still safe? I had oral sex with a man after we had been out drinking. Apparently drinking makes u dehydrated and produce less saliva. I'm sure there was some but not much. Can anyone tell me if the oral sex would still be NO risk for me? Thank you.

I just took a home HIV test that I purchased from http://home-hiv-tests.com/. My bf and I both think it was negative. My question is how accurate are these tests and would there be any question about the visibility of the second line in the test section of the test? It was an oral test. Looked kind of boot leg. But there was a dark pink line on the control section and then if u look really close a faint light pink line on the test part. U could hardly see. Please tell me your thoughts... Thank u!

Ok. Thanks. I have one of those home access test kits and I'm scared to death to use it much less send in the sample. Smh. I feel really bad about this situation. I'm starting to think the guy lied about his status. But I do know he was adamant about using a condom. So the was only unprotected oral. I don't know if u saw my other posts but about 2 weeks after the encounter my bf got a flu like illness with fever and fatigue. No upper respiratory. He seems to think it was just because of the weather change. Seemed like classic ars to me and since then i have not been the same. This site and you guys have comforted me some but I know I'm going to need to test in order to have a piece of mind. I'm so scared of the result. My bf also took a heavy dose of theraflu during the time these symptoms came about. I think they were all gone in about 3 days max. Is this too short a timeframe? And if so, would the medicine shorten the ars timeframe? Thanks again!
