Need Reassurance

I have extremely bad anxiety when it comes to STDs especally HIV so I could use some reassurance with this.
December I had protected vaginal and anal sex with a friend. I didn't think too much of it until I went to the gyno and found out I had gotten chlamydia from that encounter despite using protection. This person assured me he was STD free, which obviously untrue, but I was aware that he had a high number of previous partners.
I took the antibiotics and got checked out again a few weeks later and was clear of chlamydia and gonorrhea. However, my main concern was that he had something worse like HIV (even though there was statistically little chance) and lied to me or just flat out didn't know.
So basically I tested myself with the Oraquick home test exactly 9 weeks after the encounter and it came back negative. Then I repeated the test about five months after the encounter and again tested negative. Am I in the clear? I'm starting a new relationship and would never want to put this person in the position I was put in. Thanks.

Hey dude,
Firstly using a condom is considered to be 100% safe.
Secondly just let go of the anxiety. ANY TEST CONDUCTED AFTER 3 MONTHS IN CONCLUSIVE. YOU ARE HIV FREE AND YOU CAN START A NEW RELATIONSHIP.

Good luck.
